Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Kirsten’s quest for understanding life’s deeper meaning has always set her apart. Educated as a teacher in South Africa, she has taught in the UK, Zimbabwe, and Western Australia, continually exploring the world with curiosity and an open mind.
A lifelong active individual, Kirsten participated in various sports throughout her life. Driven by a desire to live life with vitality and longevity. Kirsten obtained numerous fitness certifications, including Level 3 Personal Training, Pilates, Exercise to Music, Step Aerobics, Spinning, as well as Introduction to Massage. Despite her dedication, she sensed there was more to achieve in her physical and emotional wellness.
Kirsten’s journey took a pivotal turn after experiencing traumatic births resulting in emergency C-sections. Her body changed dramatically, and she suffered from chronic back pain and migraines that traditional treatments—doctor visits, physiotherapy, acupuncture, and massage—could not alleviate. Medication became her only option, leaving her feeling discouraged and on the brink of losing her active lifestyle.
A breakthrough came when Kirsten discovered Myoreformation. After just one session, she experienced remarkable relief—playing tennis the next day without the use of pain relief, feeling 20 years younger, and moving with a vitality she thought was lost. The therapy helped her to release past trauma from a home invasion, restoring her sense of power and healing her both physically and emotionally. The lightness Kirsten felt after Myoreformation is indescribable and she is eternally grateful to have discovered and trained in the modality of Myoreformation.
