In 2015 I was suffering with lower back pain, and on seeing the specialist I was advised that the only way the pain could be stopped was to fuse L4 and L5. At that time I was 35 years old and did not want to go for surgery. I just dealt with the pain with the help of medication.
Early in 2019 I started having problems with my neck as well, with constant pain in my neck and left arm. After a while my left arm became almost completely numb. I went to see the specialist again and was sent for an MRI. This time he said C5,6 and 7 should be fused. I then went for a second opinion and it was the same story. By then I was so tired of being in constant pain, that I decided to go for surgery.
The day before I was booked for the operation I spoke to Jacquie and she asked me to please reconsider going for surgery and rather try treatment with Impi Terblanche who was visiting Johannesburg at the time. I cancelled the surgery and went to see Impi a few days later in April 2019. In total I had only 5 treatments with him over a few weeks, but today, 5 years later, I am still PAIN FREE and OFF ALL MEDICATION!
